Stock Car Racing

Car racing are of various types but if you talk of the best, then the name Stock car racing comes to mind. Stock car racing is mainly found in the countries of Canada, United States and the Great Britain. The races are generally run on small oval rings and the length of the tracks varies from a quarter of kilometer to about 4 kilometers.

The races that are run on short tracks are also known as the dirt tracks. All these races are generally in the highest order are between 200 to 600 miles in length. The cars are generally extremely fast and rub at a speed of more than 270km/h. Some of the stock car racing cars reaches the speed of more than 300 km/h in tracks that facilitate high speed. At such high speed things started going wrong and the number of injuries or deaths increased and that forced NASCAR to limit the top speed to near about 300 km/h.

Many people really do not know the meaning of stock cars, stock cars refers to the cars that have no modifications made to it from its original factory configuration, but with time stock cars referred to cars that are meant and designed for racing. Stock car racing is one of the most followed car races in the world and they are extremely exciting too.

The most exciting event in the stock car racing is the NASCAR championship. It is hugely followed and is among the most followed racing event in the United States; people from various corners of the country.

Stock car racing for the drivers start at various levels. Even the best of drivers start at low levels like dirt surfaces but as they gain experience they end up driving on the asphalt surface. These races are a treat to watch and anyone who drives these wheels is an exceptional character with loads of capabilities.

Stock car racing has even made its presence felt in Britain and it is a highly followed sport there. It started in the year of 1954 and cars from the 1930s took part in those competitions in those early days. Since then Stock car racing has come a long way, with loads of development and improvement in terms of infrastructure as well in the level of competition.

In the present day scenario, Stock car racing is one of the most followed games in the world and things look bright in future too.
